yeah, it'll be fine. there's not really any other way any way. unless you got a really small net but that would tedious and probably even more stressful for em. plus you might miss a few. i say just go for it.

In your question you say dumping. Do NOT dump. If you simply pour the contents of the smaller tank into the larger tank you will undoubtedly harm many of them. An easier way is to put the entire tank into the larger tank. Then slowly allow the top of the water to merge with the outside water of the larger tank. This will be far less stressful. It is a 99% guarantee of having all of your Sea Monkey’s survive the transfer. After a while (give them a good 20 minutes) take the smaller tank and slowly bring it out sidewise. Do not create a pouring motion. Simply allow the water to naturally seep out of the smaller tank by bringing it out bottom first at a 45 degree angle, while allowing air to come in.
Do not pull it out completely vertically bottom first as this will cause water suction.
By the way, a very long time ago I tried to move Sea Monkeys one by one and I can guarantee you they will die. Do not use spoons or nets. They simply cannot handle individual moving.
