you may want to try Seachems Entice, it is an all natural scent and flavor enhancer for finicky eaters. Simply soak any food choose in it for 20 minutes. Hope this helps

Are you feeding live food? She could have worms. A couple of my Discus fish did this and they had whitish poopies if they pooped at all, and no growth and not very good color. I got a good worm medicine and it took care of it. Since then, I only use frozen and dried foods. Blood worms will do it. Hanging in a corner is not a good sign and you need to look and see if she is breething from both gills or hard breething, that can also be flukes or another parasite, has she been scratching against leaves or objects? That can be a sign of a parasite as well. If not, I would try and think back if he has had white poo, if so, treat with a worm medicine directly in the water because he’s not eating, they will all be dewormed then and that’s good. Change a larger than normal portion of water before you do it and don’t bother the filter at all. Follow the directions exactly. If you are absolutely sure that you fish has no worms, you can try malachite green which will cure a number of things (melafix) I think it’s called in other countries. Also do a large water change before you use it.
Just to add… if you think she absolutely has no illness or disease, One of my breeding Discus will also hang in one area and only sometimes socialize. Even when the eggs laid are eaten by snails, he is still protective over one corner, it could be a breeding behavior, but if she’s not eating and not looking good I would lean more toward worms/ parasite/ disease.
14 gal blind cavefish and goldfish/ 100 gal Discus fish as main fish.

i used to have and actually had mating with angel fish which was amazing! angel fish are very sensitive to temparture change.i lost so many in the winter even with heaters.sensitive to parasites that can come in the food you feed them.colder temps will lower appetite.years ago there was a unusual virus that attacked angel fish even in the home.you couldn’t find one in a pet store and again it was during the winter months.there was one great antibiotic i got at the pet shop that helped so much.i learned the antibiotics were very precise to the ailment.cheap ones don’t work.it was expensive but when you enjoy them so much it was worth the cost since they can live 8 to 10 years!oh i see you have a i think you meant a betta-they are very aggresive.that inself could be the problem !corys are not as aggressive but are to a degree.as i read and will say again -i see you feed brine shrimp.i did as well but then later learned how they can bring parasites into the aquarium.so i can only suggest-first the betta has to go-no more brine shrimp and a dose of good antibiotic from a reputuable pet shop.i wish i could remember the brand-i think it started with mira. i truly hope it helps because the angel is so gorgous!I always wanted a german blue angel-never got that far.had a gold angel-they are nasty! good luck!!

I breed & sell angels, pulling spawns from 7 pairs ATM. This is common with cichlids, especially discus and angels, and something I have encountered & solved endless times.
Put the angel in a quar tank, I usually use a 10 gallon. Increase the temp over a day or so to 90-94F. Treat daily with 40 mg/gallon metronidazole, with 50% water changes daily. If the fish isn’t eating, don’t feed for the first 3 days. After 3 days, get some frozen brine shrimp. Take a portion about the size of a few match heads, and sprinkle on some metro. You have to eyeball this one, make the shrimp look kind of like a tiny powdered donut. Once it thaws, mix it in & feed. Sometimes they still don’t eat for a few days, but once they start to mouth the food & spit it out, the meds seem to get in their system real good. Continue medicating the water & food for 7-10 days.
Metronidazole is sold as flagyl, het-a-mit, and a few other names I can’t recall offhand, used to treat hexamita & hole in the head. They usually suggest 20mg/gallon, this often isn’t enough. Metro deteriorates in 8 hours, so you could do twice daily water changes. I’ve done this on the weekends when I have time.
I’ve also added epsom salt while using metro, this helps with any constipation issues, cleans out the digestive tract. I start with 1 teaspoon per 10 gallons of water, increasing by 1 teaspoon daily for 2 more days to bring it up to 3 teaspoons per 10 gallons. You will have to adjust how much you use when doing water changes. You may want to give this a try.
