Try looking in the frozen food section of your local petstore. Piranhas will usually take small goldfish (the feeder kind) if they are more than a few inches, and they make frozen foods especially for piranhas.

did u get it when it was small? if so feed it blood worms and when it gets bigger gold fish

i always feed mine gold fish! the young ones are fairly cheap! you may want to keep them in a separate tank until you feed them!! one of my piranhas use to bite all 12 of their heads off and leave the headless bodies floating!! it was a waste!!

I would feed it fingers. Just dangle your fingers in the water. When you run out of fingers, find a friend.

Feeder guppies then feeder goldfish along with bloodworms One of my shop owners swears by chicken livers.But I think that would make a mess out of a tank. He keeps healthy fish though. High Iron and protein is what he brags about.

used to feed mine krill and silversides, piranhas only natural diet is dead fish and crustaceans. you can also go to wall mart and get there seafood mix (shrimp, cuttlefish,squid,octopuss, and crab all mixed up) and freeze it and just drp some in there even frozen pretty easy and not all that expensive

Let them eat food that contains blood.

they must be small to eat those foods, as they get larger they will only eat live food!
