Clownfish and Porcupine puffer?????

Can 2 medium size P-clownfish be put with a larger Porcupine puffer in a 125 gallon tank……. I feed my tank 3 cubes of brine shrimp and spiralina……. also whole krill…

  1. generally i would advise against it.

    puffers will get large and aggressive and unless the clowns have protection in anemones then i wouldnt even dream of mixing these two.

  2. if it is a 125 gallon tank then i think you should be ok.
    if the tank was smaller i would worry but if the puffer
    grows then thats when you might run into a problem..
    they do get aggressive so are you planning on getting
    other fish? research what fish are good to mix with them.
    i would say get good lighting and get an anemone for
    your clownfish to hide in but then again the puffers are not
    reef safe so they will eat the corals/anemones so i say do not get the puffer..

    and since their diet is meaty i would say no to the large
    puffer!

  3. with that size tank i think you should be fine, keep an eye on them for the first couple off days, try getting a ClownFish Anemone
    for them aswell.
