  1. how long ago did you get them, if its been more than a few days they shouldnt still be stressed. where i work they seem to prefer frozen blood worms so give that a try and if that doesnt work get your water quality tested

  4. They are probably eating when your not around. Try turning off the light when you feed them. Mine love worms fresh from the garden (rinse them off) they fight over them and suck them in. (like spaghetti, it’s kinda gross). Do you have caves or places for them to hide if they need to? If they are too exposed it might be making them nervous but after a day they should really be swimming all around.

  5. Mine love ghost shrimp, feeder fish, and snails. Try feeding them live food. Also turn the light off in the tank Puffers get stressed out easily. Just give them some time. Puffers have there own personalities.

  6. How long have you had them now and what kind of water do you have them in?

What is your water quality like? PH? It is very possible the fish are still getting used to their new home. Worry after 4 days. Also, is your tank fully cycled? Higher ammonia and nitrate concentrations on scaless fish effects them differently.

If you have had them less than 4 days, no worries. They will eventually eat. A good idea, toss in a few small snails. Since puffers teeth never quit growing , this will also help keep them trimed.

keep your hands out of the tank. Do not try to force feed your fish. They will come around.
