Feeding Fish help?!? (Brine Shrimp)?

I have 2 bala sharks that are about 2-3 inches long and 2 silver dollars also about 2-3 inches long. The fish get a long great and have now started to swim all together. I have been eeding them flake food, and usually the freeze-dried bloodwarms. I just bought some freeze-dried brine shrimp today. I did not notice however when I bought this fish food that they are large bits, kind of the size of doog food. I do not know if the fish just nip at it until it goes away, or if I should cut the food into smaller pieces. Please help me.
should I just feed them the brine shrimp not the flake food, if I decide to feed them the brine shrimp?

  1. They will pick at it just the way it is, no need to break it up. Make sure you don’t put more than one in there a day though. You don’t want to overfeed and gunk up your tank.

    Good luck!

  2. Unless the peice is too big for them to finish you can feed if as is, the fishes will be picking on it taking off small bite size pieces until they are done and full.

  3. Yes they can just nip on it or you can pull it apart for them but if you have a fish hungry than the other they will tend to try to get bigger bites leading the others to get less thenb eventually they start fighting over it well our fish did at least
