You know what you shouldnt even feed them to ur betta..i have one and my dad knows everything about fish..all u need to feed them is the food from a pet store that says BETTA FOOD on it because shirmp isnt to good!

They love live food. I used to feed mine mosquitoe larvae and it loved to chase them down!

Bettas actually prefer live food. Blood worms and wingless fruit flies are great choices, too. Feed the artemia live. Only feed 2-3 single insects/shrimp daily. You may find that your bettas reject pellets and other “packaged” betta foods. This food really isn’t the best choice for bettas and many bettas will only eat this food as an alternative to starvation. I strongly recommend feeding the live food, and supplementing with freeze dried bloodworms.

Bettas will eat the brine shrimp alive, and they apparently love them (mine have only ever gotten freeze dried ones, but it’s one of their favorite treats). It’s a good intermittent addition to a regular diet, though not a staple food for them.
