I have tried several times to decapsulate my Brine shrimp cysts and when I put them to the hatching container most of them stuck to the upper part of the hatchery. Yielding low hatch result.
I have tried with less cyst,…it still happens. It seems to hatch better w/o decaps.
Any advice please? Thank you.
It depends on the Brine Shrimp eggs. I have had Brine Shrimp eggs from the shops and the hatch ratio was very poor regardless of what I’ve tried. Then I got some Brine Shrimp eggs from Bulgaria and those hatch really well.

Is your salt content where it should be? You can push the cysts down into the water. As long as the air is in the hatchery the hatch should be fine.
It may be the eggs themselves. These things will sit on the shelves for years and no one bothers to look at the expiry date on them. Check the bottom of your bottle. There should be an expiry date on it. I was looking at the store just two days ago and every bottle of eggs they had were expired. Some will still hatch, most wont.
Try getting other eggs and increasing your air flow.
Hope this helps.
