  1. okay u can get small little goldfish they are rlly easy to take care of and eat flake foods. but if u want betta fishes then ull need to keep them in seperate bowls or they will fight. also bettas dont need a huge tank with a filter it doesnt matter. and goldfish are rlly cute if u go to ur local pet shop there are many little colorful ones too.

  3. The picture is of a good quality common betta. Bettas will be perfect for what you are looking for. Only get one though. You should be able to find a good betta by looking around. Some stores carry what is known as a “Super Delta” betta, which is a little more pricey but will have the finnage you are looking for. Check out the crowntails too, they are really nice.

  5. Please no goldfish. They will not live long in a bowl or small tank.

You say filter only which rules out anything needing a heater so a betta is out unless you keep your place a bit warm.

But to answer your betta question, that is a doubletailed betta and has a fuller fin at the back (tail) and the longer, wider top (dorsal) fin.

For your tank I would suggest a small group of white clouds. They fit the bill in all ways and are pretty on top of that.
A betta will do great in a 2.5 gallon filtered and heated tank.
