Is hot glue poisonous to fish?

ok i made a breeding net, one made of hot glue sticks, glued together by hot glue, and surrounded by nylon. I would like to know if this would be hazardous to my clownfish? I am going to store live brine shrimp in it and my regular breeder nets holes are 2 big the shrimp can fit right through.
Thanks

It’s relatively non-toxic to us, but for fish I wouldn’t risk it, I would think of an alternative to using the gluesticks just to be safe. Maybe put the smaller mesh net into your old net with the bigger holes.

  4. yes. it is. cleaning supplies, chemicals, etc. should not touch even the glass of fish tanks. it basically pollutes it

  5. Actually i bought decorations recently at my LFS for my Fishtank which where glued together with a hot glue gun, and they’re fine for the aquarium tank
Just make sure it’s absolutely dry, before you put it into your tank

    HOpe that helps
    Good luck
