  1. Im not sure about it but most knife fish are about 24 inches or more so it would have been a huge possibility because of that.

    Best method that has worked for me.

    Well there are a few different types of knife fish, there are; Black Ghost knife fish, Clown knife fish, African knife fish, and a brown knife fish. They all get different sizes, but all get large. They feed at night and no small fish is safe with this fish, they should be kept with medium to large fish so not to eat them.
