Is he in freshwater?
That would be why. They die, if you don’t convert them to full saltwater.

Does it get mad aroud fish that bother him. if so thats bcause you’ve been feeding him snail when u are suppose to feed them fish food from the pet store maybe.

Well if is it Saltwater then normally you should give him frozen shrimp (sell in aquarium stores), but if Freshwater then you should give him bloodworms (also sell in aquarium stores). Im pretty sure that he just scared.
It depends too on how big they are.
