I have brine shrimp and blood worms but it seems that my gold fish is a pig and eats most of it. My puffer will not even get the left overs?? what should i do to help him.. I have had him for about 3-4 weeks he is small and looks like a tadpole. Can anyone help me plese.
Steve, GSP’s are brackish fish. If you don’t have the water to salt ratio correct, they will not eat. Have the water tested for salt content.

Get yourself at least a 20 gallon tank, and move the puffer into that by himself. That’s one of the problems of keeping goldfish with other tropical types of fish, they hog all the food.
And, your GSP is a juvenile now, but as they get older, need to slowly be acclimated to a brackish to almost full salt water set up. Here’s a link, click on brackish puffers, then the GSP picture to get all the info on their basic care and requirements:

If you can’t get the separate tank for him and care for him properly, I’d recommend taking him back to where you got him from, because he will end up dying soon.
