  1. You may not see them eat… But they will. Just make sure the flake food is finely crushed… It sounds like the brine shrimp may be too large for the guppies to eat. Try freeze dried krill or brine shrimp… and crush it into fine pieces. That should do the trick.

You can also try Liquifry # 2… Designed for livebearer fry.

  2. Its a bit soon to start feeding them, but ok.
My favourite way to feed fresh Guppy fry is by hard-boiling an egg, put it in to a resealable container, add some water then squish it all together.
Feed the formula twice a day. But be careful not to feed to much (maybe just one drop) because it is very high in protein and makes them to grow faster.
Baby Brineshrimp is also a good fry food. As they get older start feeding them Bloodworms

  3. They are eating you just don’t always see them eat, please do not overfeed them because that will make a mess of your tank. The brine shrimp are good and the crumbled flakes are also good , but your local pet store should cary baby fish food. It is a lot finer cut and has all the nutrients and addatives baby fish need. Sounds like you are doing everything right. Don’t become discouraged. Your female guppy is going to fry again in about of 4 weeks. Also i reccommend that you purchase a book that will tell you the habits of live-bearers and read it. It will help a lot.

  4. They will eat flake food. Be careful not to overfeed. Most brine shrimp is sold for larger fish, look to make sure you have the stuff for fry.

  5. They are probably eating the micro bacteria in your tank and they will try to eat the other stuff you are feeding them if they can. The boiled egg yolk slurry is a good idea as is liquid fry food from the pet store or homemade infusoria (tank water and a piece of lettuce left in a window sill in a jar till it starts to rot, feed the liquid). Anything you feed them should be able to be squeezed from a small medicine dropper. That way you know it is small enough for them. The whole fry colony only needs one little dropper fed several times throughout the day. Suck up any extra food with a turkey baster ( don’t get any babies in there) and dispose of it. That will help the water quality. I don’t know if it works but a friend blended frozen brine shrimp with tank water and fed a dropper at each feeding time, she refrigerated it and it lasted about a week. I am sure if it is not the right thing to do someone will correct me. Good luck with your babies

  6. Infusoria is about all they will eat for the first few days, then live brine shrimp.
You gotta make your own infusoria. You can’t go out and buy it.

  8. It is good for them, but if they don’t want to eat go and get them fry food from the pet shop, although shrimp is good for them, my fry did not want to eat it and the dry fry food they loved
