If you don’t have a tank to move the fry to, then you are not going to have great results. You might have a half dozen or so that survive. The intake to your filter will need to be covered with a sponge. The sponge will need to be very porous, and you should be able to get one at a good aquarium store for less than 5 bucks. This will keep the babies from being sucked up the filter. Ideally, you would want to make an old school sponge filter. They are pretty cheap, but you will need either an air pump or a powerhead. There are instructions for making them online.

I agree with five speed. I have angels myself and am going to try to spawn them. CONGRATS!!!! For YOU!! I am so anxious, but mine are still too small. Sometimes the parents don’t eat the babies, if they are good parents. It usually takes about three spawns before they stop eating the babies. That is when they become “good parents” per say. I have just been doing a lot of research on these on-line so this info comes from others.

you should move ur babbies into a smaller tank (a large jar will work) u so the mother dose not eat them then once they are big enough so the mom cant eat the u can move them back into the original tank
