I dont want to sound like water chemistry cures all answerer here, but have you checked your water chemistry lately? First sound of sypmtom sounds like elevated nitrites lack of appetite, but that does not in any way rule out a parasite infection either. How new is the tank, how long have they occupied the tank also would be helpful here. Check your water chemistry, and if it’s clear, and tank is established for months now, then I’d be looking for a parasite problem. How long have you observed thier normal behavior?
I breed bettas…have over 150 adults currently. I learned from some of the top breeders of the world…going on over 7 years now!
