betas are picky when it comes to new foods. it can take up to a week for them to adjust to it. I would just find a food that he likes and stick with it.
all the bettas that i have kept seem to prefer frozen food to dried. if you can get frozen bloodworms and maybe some pellet food designed for tropical fish i think you’ll be set.
brine shrimp really don’t offer much nutritionally anyway.
mine prefer frozen bloodworms, though i find if i reconstitute the brine shrimp( i have Hikari brand) with a little of their tank water, they’ll eat them better, though my female won’t eat them at all.
but only as a treat.
Oh yes, Bettas love the stuff. Bloodworms, Daphnia, and Brine Shrimp are favorites of Bettas.
I wouldn’t use it as just the primary food, it is more of a treat. Use Hikari, it is the top in Betta pellets. Those live foods should be slowly introduced and not be fed to often.
they uasally do….
