Brine shrimp is an okay is you are feeding them other foods. Frozen brine is not very nutrient filled. Give then a good balance.

the better color enhancers are sprilina and omega flakes.
i feed my sw fishes live brine shrimp 2-3 times aweek and it helps with the natural bowel movement more than coloration. While in theory it should keep the redness better.
i use spirilina flakes and ocean nutrition forumula two flakes 3-4 times aweek, as well as omega one protien flakes 1-2 times aweek for extra protien.

It’s best to feed your saltwater fish a verity of food.
Brine shrimp, Mysis shrimp, Krill, Silver sides, a good quality flake or pellet like Formula 1.

You really should feed a variety of foods to keep your fish healthy the “chum” we make was probably the best value.
If all you have access to is brine shrimp soak it in Selcon. Or make some “chum” its smells somethin awful but the fish love it.
We feed so many different types of food so here goes ..
Ocean Nutrition prime reef flakes and formula 2 pellets
Omega One flakes
Frozen Mysis shrimp cubes
Frozen Spirulina cubes
Frozen Prime reef cubes
Plus our own “chum” as we call it a mix of (all uncooked unprocessed) shrimp with shells, squid, sea scallops, silversides, oysters chopped up really fine with a food processor and scooped it into ziploc bags and froze it.
