first of all i beleive the frogs will enentually eat the tetras, the frogs will dirty up a tank fast, beleive it’s thier slime coat on skin..don’t think they will mate either

Generally, the rule is 1 gallon per animal…
Here’s my suggestion: a 10 gallon tank usually runs about $9 at any petstore or walmart. Get a 10 gallon and either an algae eater, a snail, or a plecostomus. These animals all work to keep your tank clean because they eat scum and poop. also, whisper brand filters are fairly cheap and easy to upkeep…
also, the frogs will not eat the tetras… they are far too small… AND the frogs would be happy with shrimp pellets instead of the brine shrimp, it’s much cheaper and doesnt smell as bad.

No that tank is way too small for all those animals. Seven fish (well, 5 and 2 frogs) of approximately one inch a piece will need a 10 gallon tank. Get a new tank, clean the filter (new carbon insert and wash the whole set up out with an old toothbrush) and you may even want a gravel vaccum to clean up any leftover food and poos from the gravel once a month. Don’t forget water conditioner and slime coat too!

You should get a larger tank. They should be in a ten gallon.
DON’T get a pleco they get too big for a ten gallon!!(nothing eats poop- they eat algae)
The frogs shed their skin as they grow- that is most likely the white thred. They normally eat the skin as they scratch it off with their claws.
The frogs won’t mate. Chances are you don’t have the proper environment.
When you switch the tanks you want to cut down on the time it takes to cycle the new aquarium. All the beneficial bacteria that are thriving in your gravel and filter need to be transferred to the new tank. If you rinse the gravel use the same temp. water. You don’t want to kill any of the bacteria that convert ammonia into a harmless substance.
You will want to save your water from the five gallon- just transfer it to the ten. Save your filter as well. Even if you get a larger filter. Keep the old dirty one on there until your water parameters stabilize. Then switch filters over.
This process is called using “seeded” gravel, water, and filter to quickly cycle a tank. You are less likely of having New Tank Syndrome and losing a lot of fish.

omg!!! you are over crowding your tank…you are lucky if any of them survive for a few days!!
they say 1 gallon per INCH OF FISH you need at least 20 gallon tank for all them!
