you can get it at pet stores. people use sea monkeys (brine shrimp) for live fish food.
they feed on any detritus — including dead sea monkeys. you can put just about anything in there and they will eat it. you want to be careful though because a lot of food will muck the water really fast if it goes uneaten.

Ok Go Get Flaked Fish Food The Smaller The Better Again The Might Die So Dont Get To UpSet I had Some Once And I Ran Out Of Money Food So That Was the end.

They can eat algae as well so just go to the pet store and get small fish pet food. Sea monkeys are brine shrimp and they can live for a long time without food as long as their environment produces alegea that provides them with oxygen and food.
