  1. “Sea monkeys” are just brine shrimp, a common food for aquarium fish, and live ones are available for sale at most aquarium stores. They are tiny – a few millimeters head to tail. And they don’t look like monkeys, despite their fanciful depiction on sea monkey ads – they look like the tiny planton that they are.

  2. I had a relatively big one…about half a centimeter…usually a bit smaller than that. Basically a bite size snack for small fish.
