yes its okay to put an airpump but make sure you set your airpump power to the lowest minimum or restrict air going into the tank. you just want a some air bubble. Too much bubble and you’ll find ur baby brine shrimp stuck to the sides of the aquarium.

as long as it is on a low setting or else you will kill them since they are so tiny and fragile
