Sea-Monkey HELP!?

Okay, so I have these Sea-Monkeys. It was a reaaallly old pack, and I found it the other day. I decided I wanted to hatch them, but wasn’t expecting any to come to life because it was such an old pack. To my surprise, 6 days later, I found 2 little things swimming around! Now I really want them to have companions, so would it be okay to just add more eggs in there? Or would I have to purify the water again with the 2 little sea monkeys already in there? Is that even allowed? What should I do?

Thank you!

  2. Buy another package and start them Once all are hatched and doing well you can combine them. They don’t eat each other but the younger ones might get hurt early one when put in with larger ones.

Leave them a few more days, they’ll lay eggs and you’ll soon have more sea monkeys.

If you do want to get more. I’d recommend getting the started pack. Packs 1,2 and 3. Remove the ones you have into a clean glass with water from the tank. Then use the packs in the tank you have and replace the sea monkeys.

  5. i would think it would be okay to just add the eggs. if you want, you could purify some more water in a jar, add the eggs, wait a few days then add that water to the sea monkey tank. i set up a really old pack the other day with no luck =[ oh well. if i were you i would wait a while, they will probably breed. good luck =]

btw, there are contact numbers on the sea monkey pack. you could always contact them and ask.

  6. i think its cruel to keep sea-monkeys, should they even be alive or was it just some scientist who mixed up somethings and created sea-monkeys.

  7. Sea monkeys are very small and you probably can’t see them when they have just hatched. There may be more sea monkeys in the aquarium. Just wait for them to grow bigger and you might see them.

    Good Luck!
