There are a lot of sea monkeys in a packet and they attempt to reproduce but the conditions has to be just right for them. Sea monkeys are really brine shrimps so if you ever run out, check out your local pet store for more of them and you can also get more specific instructions on the care and feeding since they sell live brine shrimps as fish food. If they only have frozen ones, look for another store. I hope it helps.
