We ordered a grow-a-frog kit, got our tadpole in the mail today and have misplaced its food. Says they eat continuously by filtering the water, so will it die if I give it sea monkey food until the real food replacement comes in the mail?

Give your tadpole fish food. We used to have a tadpole and they ate fish food.

There are a couple of alternative foods you can give a tadpole. Fish food, sea monkey food, algae eater tablets, rabbit pellets, fresh veggies. The thing to keep in mind is that tadpoles don’t eat a whole lot at once, and only eat a very small amount through out the evening and night hours. Put the food in at night, and not a whole lot. Hope it helps!

it might so give it fish food or boiled lettuce. boil the lettuce until in is soft, and i mean REALLY soft

i have an aquatic frog and in high school my marine biology teacher had a bullfrog tadpole. they eat “frog bites” you can buy it at almost any petstore. it a white bottle lwith a red rim and a pic of a frog on it. and i meant for tadpoles and frogs.
my frog usually just eats the fish food though but you should buy the frog bites first.
