  5. sea monkeys are very much not extinct. they are very common organisms. they look like little little itty bitty tiny shrimp, a couple millimeters long, because that is what they are. brine shrimp. naming them sea monkeys was a marketing ploy to get kids to get their parents to buy them as pets. if you need any for your project, i guarantee you they will have some at your local fish store.
