Well, I have about 5-6 Sea Monkey colonies. 2 colonies died due to my cat spilling them over. They really do get boring after awile. I’d say they’re a waste of money.

For 5 min. keep the monkeys in the light. then, put a box over them for 10(make sure no light gets thru). invite your friends over, and remove the box. theyll start to do backflips.

ok i bought my daughter some sea monkeys about a month ago, they were cool at first maybe the 1st week or so.now they sit in the Conner and do nothing. they all hatched and are still alive.they are different now from when i was a kid. they live for about 2 years and grow alot bigger mine are about a 1/2 inch so far. they have all kinds of stuff that you can buy for them.like aqua leash so you can transport them into neckless ,watches, etc. im sure you seen on the web sites. they swim around in the tank ( kinda boring ) and all this yucky brown crud grows in the water. ( gross ) so may i recommend grow a frog, grow butterflies.those are pretty cool and my kid loves them. otherwise just get a fish tank..lol.. i wish i never made the mistake of getting the sea monkeys..
well hope that helps

Just make sure to feed them every day, and put them where they can’t get spilled. I’m the kind of person that enjoys watching them for long periods of time, I think stuff like that is interesting, but I’m not sure that a small kid would enjoy them. I also would suggest Grow a Frog or grow a butterfly- I haven’t tried them yet but I want to!
