Would it be possible to have a pet paramecium or amoeba?

I prefer small pets, and it seems like a single-celled one might do the trick. I can keep an eye on them with my microscope and feed them viruses or something.
Has this been done before? It seems like i could make a lot of money selling them too, because they breed faster than rats and don’t smell.
This is as good of an idea as sea monkeys or pet rocks, no?

  1. I think it is a good idea ..i always say that bacteria are my best friends, lol but i dont know if it will be allowed for people to actually buy or sell it.You’de have to talk to a biology professor and see where you can obtain some for yourself but i doubt you’ll be allowed to have a big amount of it to sell to people .if you do, however, make sure you contact me first :)
    Good luck!

im sorry but are you joking? if u want some go take a cup after it rains, find a puddle and there you go. then just mount it on a wet slide and you should find a whole bunch there.
