I have a female and male betta I had to clean there tanks cause when they spawned there were parasites multiplied in the tank slowly eating eggs. I had to clean out my tank and the eggs were removed. They were supposed to hatch yesterday i bought them at walmart to save them from being abused.i had to spend an entire 2 hours cleaning out my 100 gallon fish i had in my garage. the tank has no gravel or decor or anything cause i want to breed them. I even breed them newly hatch brine shrimp hatchlings and micro worms and keep the temp 75-82 degrees. I turned off the filter and used a sponge filter instead so the water will sit still for the male to build the bubble nest. i dont know why they wont still breed i have done this since yesterday and i put 1 little hiding spot so i can know if the female has been finished spawning and i can put her her own 20 gallon tank. Is there something i am doing wrong. There the only fish in my tank. and they wont mate the fish dont have any diseases.
And where can you buy like a bubbler nest thingy so maybe i can cheat on building a bubble nest instead of the male
