I just got my betta the other day, he is in a 10 gallon heated and filter tank with only an African Dwarf Frog and a snail. Thing is she keeps flaring and trying to fight by background. I have never seen this before could it be because the background has a lot of the same color as her (black and red)? Do I need to remove the background…I know it healthy for her to flare to a point but I also don’t want to stress her.
Also my African Dwarf Frog will not eat and none of my food sinks (and I have limited options on food because all I have where I live is walmart) would it be okay if I got sea monkeys and feed him them as long as I rinsed them in fresh water first, since all they are is brine shrimp. I could use a turkey baster to do it I just need food that sinks.
Anyway, I had given up on frogs but my boyfriend got me this new one so I was scared it wouldnt eat either but it eats like a piggy. Ok, life story over. Enjoy! Aquarium is the Eclipse System 12. Its 12 gallons.
