Breeding Tank for Bettas (temperature)?

I am feeding the female bloodworms and the male wont eat them, so I keep feeding him the regular pellets. I am aware that the tank water should be around 80-85 degrees. Or such things like that. How would I keep it that warm? Just regular room temp or is there something like a water heater so something I can add? Plus, if my female is eating the good food and my male won’t (including bloodworms and brine shrimp) will this be ok for him while he is helping the frys? By the way, they are all in the same tank. Not attacking or anything. Just a little chasing here and there.
Also, would I be able to add a snail to clean uyp the mess? Would it affect the baby fry?

Best food for bettas?

I was wondering what food you would recommend for bettas. I know that bloodworms and brine shrimp should be rotated into thier diet but what about regular food for them? I am getting a betta soon so I would like to know which food he would like best and what food would make him happiest.

Feeding meat to betta fish (read details)?

I have heard that feeding things like brine shrimp and freeze-dried bloodworms are good for bettas, since they are carnivores. I was looking around Answers and read that feeding them finely chopped beef heart or liver would be fine too (though they will probably cloud the water) and I just wanted to confirm. And are boiled peas good too, once a week?

Indian dwarf puffer help!?

I have posted about this before. I went to the pet store today and they told me they fed my indian dwarf puffers frozen brine shrimp. Ive been trying to feed them that for several days. They will not eat it. I got one to try it and it spit it out so im not sure if it ate any of it or just spit it all out, but one still has not eaten and its been 5 days. Ive tried frozen brine shrimp, shrimp pellets, flake food, I also put a snail in there about 2 days ago and they have had no interest in it and the snail is still alive and moving. I went today and bought frozen bloodworms to try that and they have been very lathargic and didnt want anything to do with the bloodworms either. I tested the water and the ammonia levels are perfect. So dont know what to do now. Please anyone with some good information help me.

How many bottom dwellers can I have?

I have a 40 gallon tank with 4 Corey’s and a Japanesse algae eater. I really love to watch their antics. How many Corey’s can I have ? I only have 10 other fish at the moment. I do add bloodworms and brine shrimp to their diet every 4 days.
