Hi, I just got a female crowntail about 3 weeks ago, and the only thing she will eat are blanched peas, I know this is not good because they are carnivores. I give my bettas blanched peas once a week to prevent constipation (all my bettas love blanched peas), but it’s all she will eat. She spits the pellets out, I’ve even tried bloodworms and brine shrimp, she ignores them or spits them out, what should I do? I tried fasting her for 3 days and she still wants peas, I’m about to give up and just feed her peas, so she won’t be so skinny, please help or give me advise, thanks!

Is it necessary to feed the female with live food (like brine shrimp) in order for her to have eggs?
Meh, right now my male and female are in the same tank (not separated) and they are getting along fine
The male made a bubblenest without her there, and now he wont
They don’t really do anything
He just flaunts for her and chases her places then they stop, and do it again..
Help?
How do I help them breed?
