Tank Capacity?

I will be getting a 55 gallon tank soon, and I have some questions about the capacity of it. I’m most definitely NOT a beginner in the fish hobby, and I know all the ropes of fishkeeping.

The only thing I struggle with is knowing how many fish will fit into my tanks. So my future plans for the new tank are:

4 regular adult sized angels
6 cory cats
8 blue zebra danios (large enough to NOT get eaten)
1 dwarf gourami
4 swordtails (1 male, 3 females)

What do you think? I’m kind of timid about introducing the dwarf gourami, cause I’m just not sure if they’ll fare well with angels.

The tank will be heavily planted with all manner of plants, and the substrate will be very small pebbles (to go easy on the corys).

I will be feeding them an assortment of tropical flakes, frozen bloodworms/brine shrimp occasionally, and very fine tropical pellets.

The pH will be at a constant 7.0, I will do water changes of 25% twice a week (like all my other tanks) and the tank’s in a quiet location. Thanks
I will be feeding them twice a day with the flakes and pellets, and maybe every four days the bloodworms and brine shrimp.

The tank lights will be on for a maximum of 7 hours, to promote plant growth, and the tank is in a moderately light location (I don’t rid my tanks of algae cause I know that my fish can kind of snack on it from time to time). My tank will be at a constant 78 F, maybe 80 to accomidate the angels. Any extra advice and/or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Also, on a totally different note, I bought 20 feeder guppies from a local fish store (mainly cause they were cheap). I got 20 cause I knew I was guaranteed at least 6 deaths within the first few days. Is the gender ratio affected by the temperature?

I keep having births with only females, and I only have 3 males left, to which I have grown infinitely attached to (because they’re prettier than the “fancy” guppies). My tank temp is always somewhere around 78 F.

Help feeding african dwarf frog?

I bought my african dwarf frog about 4 months ago, and had him housed in a 2.5 gallon tank with a male betta fish, I have since then moved him into a 5 gallon tank along with 2 guppys and a dwarf gourami.Ever since I bought the little guy,I’ve had to suck up frozen blood worms throuh a turkey baster and slowly feed him because the other fish always eat it all first. Even with this method, the other fish get a lot of the worms and I am starting to get sick of doing this every 3 days.I’ve tried everything, including HBH frog and tadpole pellets, brine shrimp,Hikari carnivore pellets, and live food, but it seems that my frog doesn’t even try to hunt for the food as other people say.I’ve even tried grabbing a carnivore pellet and shoving it in his mouth, but it didn’t work, and the only way he eats is if i feed him through the turkey baster. I feed him at night as this is when they are most active, but it’s still very difficult,is his only my frog? And is there anything else I can do?

How many bottom dwellers can I have?

I have a 40 gallon tank with 4 Corey’s and a Japanesse algae eater. I really love to watch their antics. How many Corey’s can I have ? I only have 10 other fish at the moment. I do add bloodworms and brine shrimp to their diet every 4 days.

Is the tank big enough?

my sister has 2 male beta’s in 2 separate vases, and in a different tank; 2 black mollies, and 7 other fish that i don’t know the breed of but all seven are the same breed. The day after she bought them, she woke up to find she had 27 (she counted) black mollies and 5 more of the other fish. right now they are in a ten gallon tank, is this big enough for them?
I will be getting all of her fish temporarily, and i have a 20 gallon tank with 2 neon tetras, and a female beta, a 1 1/2 gallon vase with filter which has a male beta, a 2.5 gallon tank with sea monkeys, and a 5 gallon tank with a green spotted puffer fish (saltwater). Should i put my sister’s fish with my fish? (My sister and i do not live together ) which tank should i put them in? will my fish be okay with them? do you know anything about black mollies?

Also what fish are the other ones? Most of them are white with black spots all over, they aren’t guppies, they are a little bigger then the black mollies, and some are orange.
