I recently purchased a rope fish and a ghost fish, both of which have been found to have carnivorous tendencies. Now one of my small glowfish has disappeared (presumably eaten)… how do I determine which one ate my fish and what can I do about it. I’d prefer not to get rid of any of my fish. I already feed them bloodworms and just purchased some freeze dried brine shrimp.
Any suggestions?
Also, I did not mention this, I did research on both fish in advance, I was aware that both fish were a risk…but I have had a very peaceful ghost fish in the past that never had any problems and the aquarium ppl said the ropefish was only a risk, that if kept well fed (and fed with some variety) it would most likely not attack my other (smaller
fish.
I have a 40 gallon tank- was told this was perfect for the amount of fish I own which is currently 15.
How would the ghost fish and the ropefish do alone in a 20 gallon?
