I bought brine shrimp to feed my fish – and the whole tank seemed to love chasing after the live food. The actual life of the food, however, didn’t seem to last very long. Is it still a treat to feed fish dead brine shrimp? Or should I just throw them out? How long should a brine shrimp batch last (how long should they live, and how long until I should throw out a jar of them)? I thought the whole point of these critters was that they were alive!!

What could the dependent variables be in a brine shrimp lab??? ?

For science, I had to do a brine shrimp lad, and now I am doing a lab write up. In the write up, I have to state our group’s independent variable, which was a change in temperature for one of the jar’s water. I did that, but now I have to state the dependent variables. I know that it means the effects of the dependent variable, but I have no idea as to what they could be.

Please tell me examples of dependent variables for my lab. Thank you very much!!!

can i feed my sea monkeys/brine shrimp yeast and algae liquid mixed together?

hey ummm i just hatched some sea monkeys and i wana feed them so i heard that when you put lettuce in a jar on a window sill it turns into algae. its been 2 days and its turned into a yellow brown-green colour and i just wanted to ask if this is safe to feed them.

and also i have some yeast here in my room but the yeast itself is like little balls that are too big to feed to the sea monkeys should i crush the yeast so they can eat it?? or will it just dissolve into the tank water… and 1 more thing if the algae is good for them to eat can i mix the algae liquid with the yeast to make a kinda liquid sea monkey food?
