What is important to include/look-up in a scientific lab introduction? BIOLOGY LAB…

I’m doing a lab on juvenile brine shrimp. First they are just put into four sections with no factors changed (like a control) and then counted after 30 minutes. Then the same thing happens and they are broken up into four but each one is exposed to a different amount of light. It is to compare aboitic and biotic factors or independent and dependant factors that affect them.

What should I look up and research for the introduction?
What should I include and in what form/ order (ie; background info, hypothesis; justification for hypothesis?)

Top 3 Animals and why?

1. Angler fish, they are those really ugly fish at the bottom of the sea with the lights on their heads, they are bad ass, and use the light to get prey

2. Monkeys or any type of primate, I would love to have an orangutan to hug and play chess with, if you need any other reason to like monkeys, look at this:

3. Felines, but mainly house cats, I love their just apathetic and curious nature, it’s a lot like me, and plus cats can be used as fuzzy pillows.

Now you answer the question, and don’t contradict anyone else’s answer, because opinions are opinions and it’s pointless to try to start an argument or debate over it like “cats vs dogs”

When hatching live brine shrimp, does they need constant light, or can I turn it off for the evening?

I just bought TOM’S hatch and feeder.

Triops Series-Day 5

This is Day 5 in continuation of my ever growing Triops. I now have 2 Triops and 1 Fairy Shrimp.

Triops Series-Day 6

My Triops have grown so big that he is now evenly sized with his fellow tank-mate *fairy shrimp*. The previous day he was 1/2 the size of the fairy shrimp=HE DOUBLED IN SIZE IN A DAY. I believe one reason is because he was fed a high protein diet of freeze-dried daphnia(a crustacean). I think it’s also because of the higher temperatureof his tank (the hotter=they grow faster). I hope you enjoy and I will be making more Triops series vids soon!
