feeding a dalmation molly?

can i feed him brine shrimp and bloodworms.
what kinds of live food can they have?

Why are my baby Mollys suddenly dieing one by one?

I had about 18 baby mollys in a 2.5 gallon tank but they were dieing one by one in it. So i moved them into the 30 gallon tank with the bigger fish (i used a tank divider so they have about one fifth of the tank. There side includes the heater and a small artificial plant. I notice a baby molly with get slow and stick toward the bottom of the tank but swim up during feeding.I feed them live baby brine shrimp, crushed flakes, regular freeze dried brine shrimp, and i used to feed them first bites. I have had them for about 6 months and they are about half a inch, I just added 2 pregnet mollies to there side of the tank and a baby molly who grew up with them most of there lives (i could only find one baby guppy when i got home). I have it filtered, airstone, heated, and the nitate cycle is fine. I had the water tested with Ph nitrate ext. This is when all y angel fish died and it turned out to be a Ph problem but i fixed it. I also notice some baby mollys eyes look cloudy and swollen. Thanks
They are in a 30 gallon tank with a divider and it is heated, filtered and has a pump. I also balanced out the Ph level that killed my angel fish. I treated the babies for ick about a day after they got into the tank because they had the disease. I also used water condition for cloarine and just changed the filter.

brine shrimp for guppy/molly fry?

i have about 40 fry (some guppy, some molly) and i just bought a brine shrimper box thing that’s supposed to hatch the eggs and then the baby shrimp swim up into the light and then you dump them into the tank… some have hatched and they’re really tiny and when i put them into my fry tank (seperate than my regular tank to try to save as many as possible), i can’t see them and my fry don’t act like they can find them either… is there a better way to feed them? if brine shrimp are really the best food option, is there a way to grow my own in another tank? i’d appreciate any and all information about this. thanks

Is ther a way to make my molly give birth?

I have had my pregnet molly for a couple months. Its looked pregnet for about two months. I have it in a floating breeding tank. I read you could make the molly give birth by doing certain things like feeding it brine shrimp. Is this true? If so what else could I do?

More green spotted puffer babies!! First ones = 4-1-07, now 15 more on 5-10-07, how often can this happen?

They are really green spotted puffers, not dwarf puffers. I only have the 2 full grown puffers (with neons, a molly, a catfish, etc) so the babies are obviously theirs. I know it is normally not all that common for them to breed successfully in an aquarium. It’s a very nice surprise, I just can’t believe it. The other babies weren’t all that big, so the new babies are fine with them and I have baby brine shrimp. I just wondered how many babies am I looking at with this sweet little mama and daddy puffer couple? If it’s 20 or so every 6 weeks, I got to get prepared for that, if anybody knows how often this is possible, (or how likely to happen) please let me know.
Thanks!!
These puffers are in a 10 gallon tank. I had no idea that I was getting a male and a female until they had babies. I still don’t know which is which. Bought
aquarium salt & read box about how much salt would make brackish. Fed them tropical fish flakes. Found out about blood worms, brine shrimp from yahoo answers & puffer forum. First got freeze dried. Then bought frozen later & they went crazy! Couldn’t see the frozen baby brine shrimp when I put them in the water, so I used just blood worms, freeze dried shrimp, & flakes. Bought live plants & some shells to add in. When I found babies, I already had the frozen baby brine shrimp. I started feeding the frozen shrimp to the babies. They did great! I’ve been trying to get a good picture of the babies, when I do, I’ll post them on the puffer forum. The babies are all together in a 10 gal. tank for now. I don’t know how fast they will out grow this tank. I have never taken the water temp. I have been extremely lucky! Thanks!!
