I want a new pet but my parents say no!?

About a year ago I started thinking about getting a pet rat. So first I bought sea monkeys and hermit crabs to make sure that I could manage a smaller pet, before jumping in and getting a rat. I took care of those guys fine, and I have finally presented my parents with the idea. I have full confidence that I can take care of the rat, and have researched a ton. My parents think that I would be a good rat owner, but they can’t stand the idea of me cleaning a cage. Isn’t is stupid that they don’t have another reason? I mean, it’s ME cleaning the cage, not them. How can I expess this to my parents, and do you agree that I should get one? Thanks!
as, yes, what a lovely reply?!?
ignore the first detail, lol!

Ok random last question on monkyes: you ever make a sock monkey before or buy those things you add water to?

to get sea monkeys? how real is that? I only made a sock monkey and was going to buy the sea monkey add water only kit but my parents wouldn’t let me (i was a kid okay?) so tell me of either or both. thanks.

my sock monkey was cute…

When do you start feeding Angel fish fry? How old?

I know I keep asking about my fry Angel fish, they are still all alive. I don’t know how old they have to be when you start them on the shrimp brine. Could some one please tell me? I am just putting in very fine tropical fish food at the present time. Will they eat this until they start on the shrimp? Thank you any thing you can tell me about Angel fish would be gratefully appretiated..They are in a nice big filtered tank with the parents and they are being very protective of them.

Where should I put my danio fry?

I just got a tank maybe 3 and a half weeks ago. I put in danios to help cycle the tank, and then I noticed a few fry. I couldn’t figure out which fish had laid the eggs, though I think it’s one of my leopard danios. I knew the parents would eat the fry, so I bought a brine shrimp net and a little net-tank thing that hangs in the aquarium. I caught about 20 fry and a few eggs, and put them in the net-tank thing. I feed them Hikari First Bites (it’s a really fine powder), but I don’t really know if I should be feeding them something else or changing the water conditions. I know that 20 is very little, but is there any chance they will survive?

Angel fry tadpole looking are seperated from parents Won’t eat tropical flakes crushed Need help raising them!

I’ve read around that baby live brine shrimp is the best to get them to eat, but i don’t even know where to buy them and how to raise them. This is the first time our angel fishes didn’t eat their eggs and a white cloudy substance around it formed. We figure we separate the eggs immediately from the parents and now they are tadpole looking swimming along in a net-like compartment. We can see their eyes and tails with the naked eye. What should we do next as far as keeping them alive and growing??
