Q1) you recently bought sea monkeys as pets. you are given instrucyions to add a volume of 10 fl oz of water to the tank. how many ml of water is this? how many gallons of water would this be???

Why is it my Q’s of my sea monkey getting pregnant keep getting deleted?

Can I feed my fish Sea Monkey’s?
I have 3 Platys, an Albino Cory, and two fancy guppies. Can I feed them a few Sea Monkeys? Like the ones that you buy the little package of sea monkey’s, put them in water, and they hatch? They are usually used for kids to have some super tiny pets and not have to take care of them, but can I use them to feed my fish a treat?

Sea monkeys – harmless fun or animal cruelty?
Most people will have come across sea monkeys, they’re little shrimp that are sold as toys or rather ‘starter pets’ for children. For less than £10 you can buy a small plastic tank, ‘food’ and sea monkey eggs, held in suspended animation, as it were, and you just add water to bring them to life.
Now i’ve always though this was pretty cool, and was just thinking of getting some today (they go well with the student lifestyle, cheap to buy and feed, don’t live long, small and non-offensive etc) when I stumbled accross an article saying they were a form of animal cruelty, kept in tanks far too small, no-where near their natural environment and they’re treated as a game, kids and parents alike not caring if they die, because they’re cheap and ‘toy-like’ in packaging.
Immediately afterwards I found this site http://www.langleystoys.com/acatalog/Sea… which even has a tiny tank that can be worn on the wrist!
