My father has a baby angels at 1 month old, what should he feed them, no hatch brine shrimp please?

Just over a month ago in our community tank the two angels who were accompanied by only one golden gourami and no plecs(very important) became proud parents. The Angels paired up had a large brood and for the last month they have been growing voraciously by picking away at the green algae that accumulates on rocks n plants. Now that they have been vegetarian for so long we would like to introduce some new food source but do not know of anything other than brine shrimp and they are a no no. If u know of any suitable size prey please let us know, thanks.

ok a question about bettas need help! what going on is it good is it bad?

ok my betta was kinda a dull red when i got him and had a 1 inch body. today i noiced he got brighter in color and longer in length and his tail is bigger and widder! is that ok? explain me me whats happening please he is in a 1 gal. tank with no light no filter with 2 plants and 1 decoration (1 of the plants is glow in the dark! =) with blue bedding. is he ok? tell me whats going on and is once a month good to feed my betta live adult brine shrimp? thats what i want to do but not sure about them help! is this good or bad i dont know whats going on! i feed him pellets 2 in the morning 1 during the day and 2 at night and fast him once a week help whats going on?

So I read up on how to feed them and well they are still living and they love plants I had rocks but alot of them kept getting stuck and alot of people are saying 1 gallon is to small for only 8 of them and well they are still hours old and when do they start to eat the food i am putting in the water ( grounded up flake and dried brine shrimp) can anyone tell me? why do they sleep alot?

Figure Eight Puffer Not Eating/ Sickness?

My F8 puffer has been in his new brackish tank for a week now and has done fine so far. He will eat the small snails immediately as soon as I drop them in the tank. However, he does not seem to care for or eat much of the frozen brine shrimp that I put in as his main food source. Today I woke up and he has been very inactive(sitting in the plants or on the ground the majority of the time and only swimming every once and a while) He usually is very friendly to me and swims up to me as soon as he sees me and he has not been doing this today. I went out and bought frozen bloodworms today and put them in there a few minutes ago and he hasn’t done anything with them yet. Every once and a while it appears as though he coughs and his skin looks a little bumpier than it has previously. Does anyone have an idea of what is happening to him? Can anyone with personal Figure 8 puffer experience help me out?

feeding otos?

i put prepared cucumber in my tank for my otos. they are new to the tank and didnt want them to get too stressed so added veggies for them, but instead of them eating the cucmber, my gourami is…. is this normal, i dont have zucchini to feed my otos at the moment, and was told to wait a couple of weeks before feeding them algae waffers, but there is pratially no algae in the tank… but there are live plants.. how can i feed the otos and keep both fish happy? i have been feeding my gourami fish flakes and brine shrimp. i dont understand why its eating the otos’ food. i dont want the otos to starve. Help me!!!
as i watch more, i notice the gourami, wich was completely happy and not bothering the otos at all is getting territorial with the cucumber. the otos want to eat it, but the gourami wont let them. (it is an opaline gourami by the way)
