Using Brine Shrimp To Feed Guppy,Platy,Tetra with flake food?

hi,
(guppy, tetra, snails, platy, shrimp (larger))
how do you use brine shrimp as a food
> can you breed them at home for a constant supply
> how do you purchase them, pet store?, are they bought from a tank?
> how many would i need for a 60l tank diet (mixed with flake food, to help vary the diets of the fish)

thanks for help

im mainly interested in using live food to help the fish have a better diet and overall be healthier, and have been recommended to use brine shrimp, but unsure how to do so.

Can I feed my platy fry freeze dried brime shrimp?

I live outside of North America, and where I’m living right now I don’t have easy access to baby brine shrimp. I bought the Hikari brand freeze-dried brine shrimp though, and I squish it between my fingers so that they’re powdery and I feed them to my platy fry. Is that good enough, or do I still need to feed live foods? I also feed them TetraMin baby. My fry are a week old and have grown visibly, but I don’t know if they’re on target or not.

Why Didn’t anyone tell me!? Brine shrimp.?

So there I was .. Had my hatchery all set up, had the eggs ready, the fry were hungry and waiting, and them Bam! when I got home from work the eggs had hactched. What all of the dozens of sites explaining brine shrimp forgot to mention was that a small batch, (1/8 – 1/4 of a teaspoon) = Like a Bazillion A** brine shrimp. I Just wanted to throw that out there. Make sure anyone setting up for the first time knew. I mean, the fish are happy, my platy’s are gorging themselves on brine shrimp, they love it. To say all end all I guess, Just be very careful when deciding how many eggs to throw into a batch.

Can some one help me with my platy breeding? Thanks.?

I have 4 platies: 1 Male redwagtail, 2 Female moon platies, and 1 Female tuxedo platy. I want to know how to get them to breed. The water temperature is usually about 78-80 degrees. The Ph is around 7. No one is sick. They live with an albino corydoras and a dragon goby. I am sure the wagtail is male and the other fish are females. No one is pregnant and everyone is healthy. I usually feed them flake food, but ocassionally some brine shrimp. Can anyone help me. The pet stores don’t know anything about it and can’t help me. Can anyone out there help me. THANKS A BUNCH!
CAN SOMEONE HELP? : – (
PLEASE!! I’m desperate!!!!!!!

Oh no!!!!!!!?

Im a fish grandma! This is wonderful but great all at the same time. I walked in my room, saw something wiggling around, it was a swordtail fry!!! I ended up only finding 2, but I put them in the breeders net. The bad thing about this is I onyl have a ten gallon, because when I bought them, I though sts were just a version of platy! Then I thought they were swordtail platy crosses cause they werent growing very fast, so i was glad cause that would mean they are sterle. So my supposed swordtail cross has been getting fat, and ive been treating for bloat!!! That is until I saw 2 fry!!! Now I have the male, the female, and 2 fry! Im not allowed 2 get a bigger tank!!!!!!!
Ok so a few question
There is a very small miniscule chance that I can get a 20 gallon long, but thats pushing it, but how many swordtails can go in this? ill get a tank divider and divide the sexes if needed.
Also, I feed my fish frozen brine shrimp, flakes, and peas, I know I can feed the fry the peas and finely crus
crushed food, what about the brine?

Ok now another question, mommy swordtail has a cloudy eye, any idea why? It just came up 2day.
gah…..the tank is like 78 degrees and I cant get the heater 2 go any higher
oh sorry there are 4 babies, I copied this from something I posted when I only found 2
I wont find anymore, I already took all decor out of my tank looking for more.
