i got a sea monkey kit and i used purified water from one of those brita filters and then i put the purifier packet(that came with the kit) in do i still have to wait the 24 hrs. to put the sea monkey eggs in???? or will they survive if i put them in now???

i got a sea monkey kit and ive been been raising them for a few weeks but the water is evaporating i moved them away from the window but they only have about half a tank full of water so i was wondering can i give the distilled water (you have to purify the water before you grow them so they probably need it now) or should i just send in for a packet of purifier make some new water and give them that? please only answer if you know for sure because i dont want to kell them.

Well last night i put the water purifier in the tank then i waited for about 14 hours but by then i got a little bit impatient so i dumped the sea monkey eggs in. At first i didn’t see anything and i waited about 4 more hours and still see nothing except green stuff and the eggs. So, should i dump the water out and start anew or should i just wait for a few more days?

I bought them from wal-mart and brought them home.I put the purifier in but I just couldn’t wait 24 hours so put half of the eggs in that same day.the next day when I got home the sea monkeys had hatched so I put hte rest of the eggs in.6 days later i put the food in.some of the monkeys weren’t even moving.A couple of days later i didn’t see any monkeys.I thought the algae were the monkeys until i looked on the internet and saw what they looked like.There is nothing in my tank but green goowy stuff at the bottom.When i filled the tank up the first time i used bottled water but when the water level droped i used faucet water.But that was after the monkeys disappeared.Whats going on?
