What if sea monkeys were actually the size the comic books depict?

What if sea monkeys were actually the size the comic books depict and they actually evolved enough to think for themselves and hated being entertainment for comic book reading kids and broke out of their fish bowls and aquariums and took over the world? But the apes from Planet of the Apes (which is actually earth apes) became jealous and didn’t want a sea monkey movie because that would be stupid so they killed all sea monkeys and everything went back to normal. Wouldn’t that be odd? What if they kept a couple of sea monkeys alive in a fish bowl jail just for the sake of a sequal?

My turtle twitches its neck, also it won’t eat.?

I have a yellow belly slider which is a baby and its head twitches. I also try to feed it pellets and brine shrimp, but he won’t eat, is that the reading for the twitching? Also, do you have any suggestion of what it should eat?
sorry I meant reason for the twitching

Why is my Betta bummed out?

So I’ve been doing all this reading (including bettatalk.com), so yesterday I bought 2 new things for my Betta.

Aquarium salt
Frozen brine shrimp

I put some tank water in a cup and put about 0.5 tbsp (I wanted to start small) of salt in the cup and let it dissolve for 2 hours. It didn’t dissolve completely, but most of the way. Then I poured it in the tank on the opposite side of him.

Then later partially defrosted half a cube of frozen brine, and when i put it in, it just disingrated all over and settled on the bottom. I know food on the bottom is BAD for Bettas so I scooped as much of it out as I could and rinsed the gravel… but there’s still some left.

Anyway, today he’s acting weird. All day he keeps hiding and he’s usually so excited to see me. His tank is only a week old, but he’s been so happy until I did these 2 new things… what do you think is wrong with him today?
I have him in a 5 gallon tank with a whisper filter and a 25 watt heater. I have the temperature monitored at all times… I added salt because the conditions he was in before this weren’t that great and his fins/scales don’t look as great as they should… but I read on bettatalk you should add it every time you do a water change. I made sure he didn’t go anywhere near the undissolved salt… it was barely any to begin with. I hope he’s ok. I guess I’ll trash the frozen brine and get bloodworms. Is it ok that some sunk to the bottom? Do I need to change all that water out again? :(
