Cleaning saltwater tank with a mandarin goby (dragonet)?

I am starting up a reef tank and would eventually like to get a mandarin (in 6 plus months after much research). I am putting in crushed coral substrate and adding live rock.
I know these fish feed off of copepods (sometimes brine shrimp). I am wondering how you clean the substrate. If you vacuum the substrate, aren’t you vacuuming up the copepods – thus the mandarins food source? How does that work?
I am curious and cant figure it out.
Thank you.

Brine shrimp???

can i hatch and raise brine shrimp straight out of my existing reef tank?

i got some freshwater and saltwater questions?

ok here they are:

i want to get a 30g nano reef tank with a bangai cardinal and a percula clown fish with a chalk basslet(that purple and yellow one with no long fins like the fairy basslet) and a live rock. is that ok?

im hatching brine shrimp in a 1 litre plastic bottle and i filled it up to like a bit more than 3/4 of the wole thing. how much salt? i added some but don’t remember how much. there is an air stone in it too. and i boiled the water and let it cool and the temp. of the water is 30 deggrees celcius. ive put them in scince 25-29 hours ago. when will they hatch? and can i keep some adults in the saltwater im getting?

i put in 2 of my tiger barbs orange and green in a breeding box. the green one is a female and seemed to be pregnant and it doesn’t have dropsy. they haven’t been killing eachother but the male is chasing the female atm. when do you think they will lay thier eggs?

is it ok to grow the brine shrimp in a chubby drink bottle(that soft drink)?

i think thats all but remember that if you ask me a question like if, idk the barb has a reddish nose than come back looking as i will answer it(Kinda like a forum).
oh ya here is my other question:

i have a female betta and it seems pregnant. there is no other betta is the tank. is it really pregnant?
