Cleaner wrasse won’t eat?

I’ve had a cleaner wrasse before who had no problem eating anything I put in the tank, but the one I have now will hardly eat anything. I’ve tried garlic soaked flakes, mysis shrimp and brine shrimp and he will go after it and try to eat some but then ends up spitting the food back up or won’t even try to eat any. What else can I do with him?
I have 4 other fish in the tank and I see the cleaner trying to clean the other fish. He even tried to eat my nassarius snails, so I know he’s really hungry, but has trouble keeping the food in his mouth for some reason.

I swtiched to frozen Brine shrimp for my betta..?

I split a frozen cube in half and drop it into the tank. It floats for a few seconds, then sinks. My betta eats some of it, but most of it drops down, is not eaten and messes the tank. After a few days of this, the tank is smelling something fierce. I started out with pellets and he hated them. He kept spitting them out. I thought that maybe they were too big for him, so I split them in half. Still he’d only touch them if he *really* hungry.

So, just wondering if you know of a better way to feed him the frozen brine without messing up the tank too much. And, how much should I be feedig him and how times per day. How often should I be cleaning the fish tank when feeding this messy brine?

Thanks.
And here I thought that he wasn’t getting enough food! I went by what the girl at the pet store told me — half a cube everyday. I should’ve gone online looked into it myself. Poor guy was getting too much in his tank.

Thanks for the help.

My female betta?

My female that I just sold a few months ago, but just got back has been chewing brine shrimp but spitting it back out what should I do?

Betta is not eating (spitting out food)?

I have a male betta for about 8 months now. Last weekend, my sister left the windows open and the temperature in the tank got down to about 65 degrees. He’s warmed back up now, but now he’s spitting out all ( or at least most ) of his food. I htought that maybe he was still too cold, so have bought a tank w/ a heater and he is in there. The transfer went ok and he seems to be enjoying the new habitat, but something is still obviously amiss as he still is spitting everything out. He was originally eating pellets, but I’ve tried both live brine shrimp and frozen brine shrimp with the same results. It is possible that he did swallow one or two brine shrimp, but this is a far cry from his previous appetite. Does anyone have any idea what his problem could be? His coloration is fine, and his entire demeanor seems unchanged, other than his appetite is gone. Its been over a week like this and I am very concerned. Please help.
