presumably due to starvation. When first hatched I feed brine shrimp and liquifry, and some daphnia (I placed the frys in really green water in my Mum’s indoor plant). The frys do really well and grow really fast too, but when it hits 3 weeks the bigger frys try to eat its smaller siblings (Always biting on the tail, but the smaller fry would always get away too). My brine shrimp doesnt hatch fast enough (as in not all the eggs hatch, only abt 50% do) and right now there’s not enough shrimp to feed the bigger frys. Any other alternative food than shrimp for 3 WEEK OLD BETTA FRY?
I give then flake food, and crushed pellet food but they won’t eat? I read that frys only go for live food. Why won’t they be like their parents who eat ANYTHING lol
