Sea-Monkey HELP!?

Okay, so I have these Sea-Monkeys. It was a reaaallly old pack, and I found it the other day. I decided I wanted to hatch them, but wasn’t expecting any to come to life because it was such an old pack. To my surprise, 6 days later, I found 2 little things swimming around! Now I really want them to have companions, so would it be okay to just add more eggs in there? Or would I have to purify the water again with the 2 little sea monkeys already in there? Is that even allowed? What should I do?

Thank you!

African Cichlids?

I’m trying to get a tank of African Cichlids up and running for my husband. I have very little experience with fish, but have done a little bit of research. I have a 29 gallon tank with a heater (It’s 79 degrees). The ph of my water is about 8.2, and I have gravel, some artificial plants, and a lot of large rock for them to hide in. I had the tank up and running with no fish in it for about 3 weeks before I got the fish. Last week I got 11 small africans and put them in the tank after acclimating them, and they all died in the last 2 days. They didn’t appear to be ill, looked healthy, and were eating some flake food and brine shrimp. I’m going to take a water sample and a couple of the fish back to the pet shop to have them checked, but would like some input. My husband has had cichlids in the past (lost them in his divorce), and I’m trying to get a new tank up and running as a surprise for him. I’m getting pretty frustrated with it, though.

More green spotted puffer babies!! First ones = 4-1-07, now 15 more on 5-10-07, how often can this happen?

They are really green spotted puffers, not dwarf puffers. I only have the 2 full grown puffers (with neons, a molly, a catfish, etc) so the babies are obviously theirs. I know it is normally not all that common for them to breed successfully in an aquarium. It’s a very nice surprise, I just can’t believe it. The other babies weren’t all that big, so the new babies are fine with them and I have baby brine shrimp. I just wondered how many babies am I looking at with this sweet little mama and daddy puffer couple? If it’s 20 or so every 6 weeks, I got to get prepared for that, if anybody knows how often this is possible, (or how likely to happen) please let me know.
Thanks!!
These puffers are in a 10 gallon tank. I had no idea that I was getting a male and a female until they had babies. I still don’t know which is which. Bought
aquarium salt & read box about how much salt would make brackish. Fed them tropical fish flakes. Found out about blood worms, brine shrimp from yahoo answers & puffer forum. First got freeze dried. Then bought frozen later & they went crazy! Couldn’t see the frozen baby brine shrimp when I put them in the water, so I used just blood worms, freeze dried shrimp, & flakes. Bought live plants & some shells to add in. When I found babies, I already had the frozen baby brine shrimp. I started feeding the frozen shrimp to the babies. They did great! I’ve been trying to get a good picture of the babies, when I do, I’ll post them on the puffer forum. The babies are all together in a 10 gal. tank for now. I don’t know how fast they will out grow this tank. I have never taken the water temp. I have been extremely lucky! Thanks!!
