Are Live Shrimps suitable for the Oranda goldfish ?

I’ve got some Thai Fairy Shrimp eggs which i am goig to hatch, and i’ve got 2 oranda golfish. Do you think that i could raise a bit the shrimps and give them to my goldfish ? Is it true that they may have diseases ?? If yes how can i avoid them ? thanks ;)
