I have had an Asian Knife (albino) for about 2yrs and he appears to be healthy. I feed it frozen bloodworms as that is the only food he will consume at this point (and I have tried tubifex worms, frozen brine shrimp and flake.) Do I need to be worried that this diet is too one-dimensional? Is this fish getting enough nutrition or should I be experiementing with other types of food or adding supplements to his present diet? Thanks for you help!

i have 5 pairs of baby guppies and i would really like to breed them for many reasons (feeder fish,pet store ,pond fish,or as pets)i have an 8-10 gallon octigon tank and i have 10 baby fancy tailed guppies the pet shop was using the babies for feeder fish and i decided to try and breed them.i have been feeding them tubiflex worms and goldfish flakes.i have a pretty good size pond in my back yard with a waterfall and stream in it.the pond is man made and i have nothing but a 7in red eared slidder to put in it and i would like the fancy tailed guppies to be a part of it.and i went and bought a tube of brine shrimp eggs but i don’t know how to hatch them.please help and happy new year.i am only 13 but i hear guppies are the easyiest fish to breed for begginers except goldfish.

I read fish like variety in their diets. So I was thinking if it would be good if I bought a bunch of different fish food for goldfish (I have 2 goldfish), say flakes, pellets, worms, brine shrimp, etc, and mix them together in a container and feed my fish with that.
And how long does fish food last after being opened?

I’ve had it for like two months, so I know it can’t be bad. I’m feeding it TetraMin tropical granules. Then, somebody else who has a betta fish said that they feed it some type of worms or brine shrimp or something? So I looked that up and there are plenty of these freezed things because I guess betta fish are carnivores. Now I don’t want to go changing my fishy’s diet too much because I heard that they need consistency, but would it be healthier to add some meat to the diet? He’s been fine so far, but I want to give him the best.

he hasnt eatin for about a week and ribs are sticking out and 2 divits in his back and the edges of his fins are slowly rotting away … just a little bit … and they are not curling up and iv tried small worms and brine shrimp and krill wich are his favorite foods and he just will not eat at all … please help … even his eye look tike they are bulging ou hes so hungrey… its a 50 gallon tang with a a flter with 2 cartredges and a power head with a filter attatchment and fine gravel
